Job Description:

SUMMARY:

The role is focused on the organization and delivery of resources for the clinical practice to meet the needs of the medical staff, support staff, and patients, Responsibilities include financial management, clinical operations, human resource management, and support of the revenue cycle in accordance with group policies and procedures, regulatory guidelines, and statutes.

Experience and Skills:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES, EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

¨ Bachelor's degree in business, health care administration, or related field is required. A master's degree in health care administration, business, or related field is preferred.

¨ Five to seven years of progressive experience in a medical group practice environment with at least three years of direct management responsibility in a clinical setting, including operational budgetary responsibility. Management experience in an academic medical center practice is preferred.

¨ Understanding of the health care industry relative to the organization, financing, and delivery of health care services and how they impact physician group practices.

¨ Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels.

¨ A management style that emphasizes teamwork, participation, communication, and a service orientation.

¨ The ability to delegate and still maintain close control over operations
